Das Cardioangiologische Centrum Bethanien (CCB) in Frankfurt setzt auch 2025 deutliche wissenschaftliche Akzente: Insgesamt gingen 1 DGK-Stellungnahme, 20 Erst-Autorenschaften, 22 Letzt-Autorenschaften und 52 Co-Autorenschaften in renommierten Journals hervor – besonders hervorzuheben unter anderem in den angesehensten medizinischen Fachzeitschriften weltweit wie dem The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) oder Nature Cardiovascular Reserach.
Zudem ist das CCB federführend an der DGK-Stellungnahme „Verschlüsse der Arteria radialis nach Herzkathetereingriffen“ (Breitbart et al.) beteiligt gewesen, die wichtige Empfehlungen zur sicheren Nutzung des Radialiszugangs gibt und die zentrale Positionierung der nationalen kardiologischen Fachgesellschaft zu dieser Thematik darstellt.
Die Arbeiten decken ein breites Spektrum ab – von neusten und innovativsten rhythmologischen Techniken wie der Puls Field Ablation zur effektiven/sicheren Behandlung von Vorhofflimmern, über die koronare CT- und MRT-Bildgebung, Thrombose- und Antikoagulationstherapien und die Behandlung struktureller Herzerkrankungen bis hin zur Prävention und Risikostratifizierung kardiovaskulärer Erkrankungen.
