The team offers particular expertise in catheter ablation of simple to highly complex arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardias. Furthermore, left atrial appendage occlusion and renal denervation procedures are offered to our patients. During the procedure patients are fully sedated to enhance procedural comfort. Highlights of the CCB-Electrophysiology Center include:
- Catheter ablation of all supraventricular tachycardias
- Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia
- Active clinical research in the field of electrophysiology
- Novel ablation strategies and energy sources (Cryoballoon, Laserballoon. Contact Force)
- Left atrial appendage occlusion to avoid oral anticoagulation in selected patients
- Renal denervation in drug resistant hypertension
- Training center of the EHRA (European Heart Rhythm Association)
CCB Electrophysiology Center (Markus Hospital)
- 1.5 T latest-generation MRI scanner
